Lakeside Café in Tralee is one of my favourite spots to eat. It’s located right beside the Tralee Wetlands, which makes it the perfect place to stop before or after a walk. The wetlands are beautiful to enjoy whether you have kids, a dog, or just want a peaceful walk yourself.
The café has both indoor and outdoor seating, which is great on sunny days when you can sit outside and enjoy the surroundings. The food is always really good, and I usually come here for breakfast or lunch. Everyone is always friendly and welcoming which makes the whole experience even better. It’s a really pleasant place to spend a bit of time.
It tends to get busier on weekends, especially with families visiting the wetlands, but that just shows how popular it is. Overall, it’s a lovely café with great food, great staff, and a fantastic location.

The atmosphere is incredible. Lovely views being able to look out on the water. Service was top notch. Staff were so welcoming and able to accommodate all my needs. Also very friendly which is a plus! Gorgeous food! Can’t wait to come back!
